    SHE HAS WORKED ON SOCIAL JUSTICE CAMPAIGNS IN OVER TWENTY COUNTRIES SPANNING NORTH AMERICA, AFRICA, ASIA, CENTRAL AMERICA, THE MIDDLE EAST, AND THE CARIBBEAN.

    SHE HAS RAISED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS WHILE IMPACTING OVER THREE MILLION WOMEN GLOBALLY. SHE IS THE FOUNDER OF A LEADING FEMINIST GLOBAL AID ORGANIZATION, CIRCLE OF HEALTH INTERNATIONAL, AND A SOCIAL IMPACT COMPANY, WAKING GIANTS.

    SHE IS A PROUD SOUTHERNER WHO'S HAPPIEST PLACE IS NIGHT SWIMMING IN AN ARKANSAS LAKE WITH HER SONS AND HUSBAND.

    Passionate about the intersection of queer joy and representation; Austin has made it his mission to create safe spaces for queer folk, from dance floor to dinner table.

    By way of Dallas, Austin came to Austin (he hears the joke constantly) with glitter on the soul and mind. He found a home here, with a fabulous queer scene to boot. Trading his corporate hat for one with rhinestones, Austin is all about big hair, big fun and much love.

    BOBBY FOCUSES HIS BOUNDLESS SOCIAL TALENTS ON CREATING INSTITUTIONAL AND COMMUNITY CULTURE TOWARDS THE CURATION OF EVENTS, GATHERINGS, AND CAMPAIGNS THAT MATTER. HIS CAREER INCLUDES BEING A PART OF THE CREATIVE LEADERSHIP THAT BIRTHED CULTURAL CORNERSTONES LIKE WHOLE FOODS AND BUNKHOUSE HOTELS. HE IS CURRENTLY COLLABORATING WITH WAKING GIANTS, AMONGST OTHER SOCIAL IMPACT AND MINDED VENTURES, TO FUSE JOY AND JUSTICE IN HIS CREATIONS AND THE WAY HE EXPRESSES COMMUNITY. HE CURRENTLY LIVES IN AUSTIN WHERE HE CAN BE FOUND TENDING TO HIS PLANT BABIES, HIS WEIRD DOG, AMAZING PARTNER AND HIS BELOVED COMMUNITY.

  • ENTERTAINMENT WRANGLER

    Ty is an accomplished musician, singer-songwriter, and wrangler of those with creative talent.

    Ty's talent has taken him to some of the world's most iconic venues, including the Hollywood Bowl, where he performed alongside legendary musician Ben Folds. He has also toured throughout Europe and had the honor of performing on the stage as jazz icon Herbie Hancock.

    Ty remains deeply committed to his community. He is a proud resident of Austin, Texas, where he has built a vibrant and welcoming community of creative artists. He is a proud member and passionate supporter of the LGBTQI+ community and has dedicated much of his time and energy to bringing people together in meaningful and impactful ways.

    Ty's music and his commitment to his community have inspired him to continue to do what he loves and he is thrilled to combine his superpowers in support of Better Union’s mission and impact.

We are currently providing meals for the counselors at Camp Half Blood. These hard working folks provide an incredible summer camp experience for all kinds of kids, specifically prioritizing LGTBQI and neurodivergent kids; in Texas this really matters.
